First Newsletter from the Cumulative Impacts Group

Dear All,

Please find attached our first newsletter from the newly formed North Huntingdon & St Ives Cumulative Impacts Group, providing an update on recent developments, plus an explanation of the planning concept known as the “tilted balance”.As our collective efforts continue to grow, it is important that residents across our communities have access to clear, factual information about the emerging Local Plan and the potential cumulative impacts of large-scale development proposals. We would be grateful if your council could circulate the newsletter as widely as possible.

In particular, if your parish or town council has a Facebook page, community social media presence, website or newsletter, we would encourage you to share the newsletter through those channels to help raise awareness and encourage informed engagement. The Group is also keen to hear from councils, community organisations and residents who may have relevant expertise or a particular interest in areas such as planning, transport, infrastructure, environment, flood risk, communications or public engagement and who may be willing to support future work.Thank you for your continued support and collaboration.

The strength of the Group from communities working together, sharing information and ensuring that local voices are heard throughout the planning process.

Kind regards

Lynne Pinn
